When you hear Aretha Franklin’s “Respect”, or James Brown’s “I Feel Good” you feel a depth of great musical talent 300 years in the making. 300 Years of Soul celebrates these great artists and many more and explores the origins of the music that made them spectacular. Six amazing vocalists take the audience on a high energy excursion through African American Culture via legendary songs from Jazz to Rhythm and Blues.

From “Minnie the Moocher” and “Stormy Weather” to “What’s Going On” and
“Sitting on the Dock of the Bay,” this live musical show salutes many well known celebrities, personalities and history makers in an entertaining and revealing two act show. Billie Holiday, Mahalia Jackson, Donna Summer and Beyonce are all rooted in the history of Soul.  300 Years of Soul explores where we have been and where we are going.  A must see for the entire family!

 Experience one of the most venerated works in the classical ballet canon as performed by this celebrated Russian ensemble. Giselle is the tragic tale of a beautiful peasant girl who falls deeply in love with a count disguised as a lowly villager. When Giselle learns of the deceit, she dies from madness, and her spirit joins the ghosts of girls who avenge the evil deeds of men who have betrayed them. The tragic story is ultimately a message of love and forgiveness prevailing in the end. This Russian masterpiece is the perfect showcase for the extraordinary skill and talent of these dancers, and features Petipa’s luminous choreography, a hauntingly beautiful score, and resplendent costumes and sets.
